2009 Street Activities
On Saturday 17th,from approx 10:00am until 12:00pm, some artists will be performing outside businesses at various locations in Macquarie St. George Town. We invite you to come down town and enjoy a coffee, buy a newspaper and browse the shops whilst enjoying a taste of the Festival. Mick Flanagan and his friends including Tom Tabasco and Chris White will session on the verandah at the Heritage Hotel and later in the morning a session will start up at the Pier Hotel. This year we will have Morris Dancing in the Street and Belly Dancing with the Sheik Charmers Dance group. We are hoping you will enjoy this taste of the Festival and race off to the Festival office to book your ticket to concerts or the Dance.
